Moving on to the highlight, the list of the world’s most interactive universities. These institutions posed numerous questions via Wooclap, and students answered thousands of them.
The University of Sheffield is the top university, followed by the University of Edinburgh in second place and the University of East Anglia in third.
Increased collaboration within educational teams
Additionally, some higher education professionals, winners of the competition, also shared their vision of pedagogical innovation. They emphasised collaboration among various stakeholders in education, including teachers, learning technologists, and students, in the creation of learning resources.
Jean-François Bodart, Vice President of Pedagogical Innovation at Université de Lille, shared one of the university’s secrets to fostering and strengthening links between learning technologists and teachers:
“We aim at reinforcing reflexivity among our community. Regular workshops and collaborative trainings are organised to facilitate skill sharing and collaborative learning between learning technologists and teachers. It enables this service to provide personalised support to teachers according to their needs and their goals.
Furthermore, he elaborated on the support structures in place, stating, “We also support the initiatives of communities of practice where members exchange ideas, resources, and best practices. At the university level or within departments, we therefore hold seminars and conferences.”
