EFMD is delighted to announce the 2020 EFMD Excellence in Practice Silver Award Winners.
Since 2007, the EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards (EiP) have recognised outstanding and impactful Learning & Development partnerships in the domains of Leadership, Professional, Talent, Organisational and Ecosystem Development.
The 2020 Silver Award Winners in the following four categories are:
Dublin Airport Authority (daa) & Trinity College Dublin
“A journey from a to what can be – The future factory programme”
Commenting on this award, Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison said: “We are honoured that our Future Factory initiative, and our collaboration with Trinity Business School has received the EiP Silver Award for Organisational Development from EFMD. This partnership between our two organisations exemplifies how we are fostering a culture of innovation by stimulating the hearts and minds of our colleagues through this customised programme. The Future Factory, which creates and tests new projects around the airport’s campus has produced a range of initiatives enhancing the passenger journey through Dublin Airport. Its new challenge is to explore what initiatives can be developed to reflect this new COVID19 era.”

“Emerging indigenous executive leaders programme”
“[email protected] Business School is proud to have collaborated with the Elevate RAP Working Group and Professor Mark Rose to create the Emerging Indigenous Executive Leader Program (EIELP). We are honoured that EIELP, with the objective of cultivating the next generation of future, senior Indigenous business leaders in Australia, has been recognised by EFMD. Since completion of the program, the vast majority of participants have made a career move, increased their well-being and capabilities and positively impacted their organisation. A number of participants have also gone on to start MBA’s and PhD’s. With the completion of three cohorts, the program alumni are now shaping and influencing the future not only of Indigenous Australia but Australia,” says Eva Freedman, EIELP Program Director at AGSM.
Amanda Tootell, Programme Manager Community, Service Zone North NSW, Services Australia, EIELP Alumni and now AGSM Adjunct Faculty added: “Having been a career public servant for some thirty years, I have attended copious internal and external leadership courses, all immersed in western thinking with a transactional bent. The EIELP opened up a new world of transformational learning to me. I was invited to embrace and tap into my heritage and cultural self and apply these to executive strategies and leadership. The freedom of thought, innovation, and kinship I have gained in working with the EIELP alumni and faculty has been profound. I believe that the relationships, opportunities, and future of this program and the alumni will continue to support and pave the way as we continue our walk to sovereignty, reconciliation, and recognition.”

“VidhyaOnline: A digital learning platform for enhancing salesforce capabilities at Coromandel”
Reacting on this recent achievement, G. V. Subba Reddy, VP & Divisional Nutrition Head at Fertilisers Division (South Zone) commented: “VidhyaOnline is a very useful tool in educating field force in technical and behavioral topics. “Focusing the response of Irish business to Brexit – Enter the Eurozone programme”

EFMD is eager to provide visibility and support to all professionals in the L&D sector. The Winners will be awarded during the next EFMD Executive Development Conference, 21-23 October 2020.
