New Global AI Forum Series launched

INSEAD Global AI Forum Series

INSEAD has announced the launch of the INSEAD Global AI Forum Series 2025, to be held across its locations in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Fontainebleau and San Francisco.

The series is hosted in support of the vision of the INSEAD Human and Machine Intelligence Institute (HUMII), a newly created think tank that will explore how human and machine intelligence can work together to improve societal outcomes in the age of intelligence. The think tank focuses on building skills for future business leaders, research insights into human and machine co-intelligence, and applying knowledge to enhance human agency.

Lily Fang, Dean of Research and Innovation at INSEAD, says: “INSEAD is uniquely positioned to lead discussions on the societal implications of human-machine co-intelligence, on AI’s impact on people, businesses and society. While we leverage the huge potential of AI to create value, we must also safeguard the essence of human agency.”

INSEAD will therefore host four Global AI Forums in 2025. Anchored by its faculty, each Forum will gather dignitaries, industry leaders, alumni, and students for vibrant discussions on AI’s impact on business, society, and the economy. These dialogues and debates will foster deeper insights into how AI and human cognition can complement and elevate each other. This understanding will help leaders harness AI to drive responsible, human-centric innovation and shape organisations and societies that place people at their centre.

Programme highlights include discussions on the AI revolution in management education, AI startups, and geopolitics and the AI race. Speakers from INSEAD as well as OpenAI International, CUHK, Waymo, Microsoft and more will feature.

A recent Workplace Intelligence survey, sponsored by Hult International Business School, confirmed that recent graduates want to know how to use AI to help them be more productive and efficient (88%), more innovative (82%), improve their decision-making and problem-solving (80%), advance their career (80%), improve the quality of their work (80%), and provide greater job security (78%). At the same time, 97% of HR leaders say it’s important that new hires have a strong foundational understanding of technology-related topics such as AI, data analytics, and IT.

In fact, the survey revealed that 94% of graduates who received AI training in college say this helped their career, by giving them more job stability (47%), more respect at work (42%), faster promotions (34%), and a higher starting salary (34%).
