INCAE Business School(opens in new tab) has announced the opening of its Corporate Governance and Senior Management Center in Miami, scheduled to begin operations in March 2027.

Located at the Citigroup Center on Biscayne Boulevard, across from Bayfront Park, the new permanent hub formalises INCAE’s decades-long presence in Miami and expands its capacity to serve Latin American leaders from one of the Americas’ most important business centres. 

INCAE has maintained a presence in Miami since the 1970s through programmes and initiatives for senior executives. Over the past 13 years, INCAE programmes delivered in the United States have graduated 2,336 participants. The new Centre builds on that trajectory, strengthening an integrated institutional ecosystem across Costa Rica, Panama and the United States. 

“We are not opening in Miami to develop the U.S. market. We are creating a global platform, in Spanish, for Latin American leaders—one that connects them with the knowledge, networks and governance capabilities needed to lead across the region and beyond,” said Camelia Ilie Cardoza, President of INCAE Business School. 

The Centre will expand INCAE’s Miami-based executive education offering to more than 10 specialised programmes and is expected to serve more than 500 executive participants annually. Its first-year portfolio will include programmes in corporate governance, senior management and family business, along with offerings that include the Board of Directors Programme, CEO Academy, CFO Academy, Family Business, Women on Boards, Women’s Executive Leadership Programme and the Global Senior Leadership Programme. 

The Miami Centre is designed for leaders navigating a business environment shaped by artificial intelligence, business transformation, sustainability priorities and succession challenges in family enterprises. It will offer executive learning, leadership convenings, forums and peer-exchange opportunities for CEOs, board members, family-business owners and senior executives from across Latin America. 

“Organisations need leaders who can govern amid increasingly complex conditions. This Centre will strengthen the capabilities of CEOs, board members and senior executives, while creating a forum for meaningful exchange among leaders from across the region,” said Carla Fernández Corrales, Senior Director of Executive Education & INCAE Online. 

The launch reflects INCAE’s broader vision to support leaders throughout their professional journey—from the development of purpose and entrepreneurial ambition to the governance systems that help organisations scale, endure and create long-term value.

Miami’s role as a connection point between Latin America and the United States for business, investment and innovation makes it a strategic setting for INCAE’s expanded presence. The Centre will provide a dedicated space for executive education and dialogue in Spanish, connecting leaders with regional peers, applied knowledge and global perspectives. 

For more than six decades, INCAE has developed leaders who contribute to Latin America’s economic and business advancement.
