Now Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) and NOVA Medical School, in partnership with the Digital Data Design Institute at Harvard, have created a new global Institute, the Digital Data Design Institute at Nova SBE and NOVA Medical School, dedicated to studying the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies benefiting society.

Emerging from Harvard Business School, the institute goes beyond the United States of America to prepare the public sector and the business landscape for a future where AI will be a constant and transformative presence.

Lénia Mestrinho, Executive Director of the Digital Data Design Institute at Nova SBE and NOVA Medical School, states that “AI has been significantly changing the lives of citizens and organisations. This institute aims to support companies in the massive experimentation of technologies and their holistic integration into the operational model. Additionally, the launch of the Digital Data Design Institute in Portugal represents a significant milestone in the internationalisation and innovation strategy of Nova SBE and NOVA Medical School, strengthening ties with Harvard, one of the most prestigious universities in the world.”
