Naturgy Corporate University receives five-year CLIP re-accreditation
We are pleased to announce that Naturgy Corporate University has completed the EFMD Corporate Learning Improvement Process (CLIP) and received five-year CLIP re-accreditation.
CLIP is a premier quality management tool for corporate learning. It benchmarks a learning function against international standards of strategic positioning, target market, learning offer, operational model and impact with a focus on digital, agile and international aspects.
“We are delighted that Naturgy Corporate University has once again achieved CLIP re-accreditation, a clear testament to its commitment to excellence in learning and development,” said Martin Moehrle, Director of Corporate Services and CLIP at EFMD Global. “We were impressed by the highly integrated talent, culture, and learning framework, by the strong collaboration with all businesses and functions, the engagement in Naturgy’s sustainability agenda, the Happiness Academy, and the high learning effectiveness. We are looking forward to a continued collaboration in our CLIP community.”
Naturgy Corporate University
Naturgy Corporate University is a learning and development platform established by Naturgy to provide continuous training and professional growth opportunities for its employees, foster innovation, and enhance business capabilities.
It aims to develop professionals who will be leaders of change to build a future with the company’s vision. It offers an ongoing learning environment with methodologies, tools, and knowledge that facilitate the growth of its professionals, connect them with trends, technologies, and best practices, and promote the development of skills and competencies linked to its leadership model.
The Corporate University is one of the strategic forces behind transformation, serving both people and businesses to contribute to the creation of value and to achieve company targets. It guarantees that people and their work positions are aligned by teaching key knowledge, being connected to the latest trends and technology, and developing skills and competencies linked to its leadership and cultural model.
In its CLIP peer review, the team noted Naturgy Corporate University’s seamless integration of talent, culture, and learning processes. The integration across these domains is evident in the embedding of Naturgy’s leadership model into various management development initiatives.
“After the accreditation and audit process of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the granting of the CLIP (Corporate Learning Improvement Process) seal to the Naturgy Corporate University, we are very satisfied with the work carried out for two clear reasons, one because this certificate recognises the quality of the strategy and training offered in all the learning and development processes and programs implemented by the Corporate University, and second because it is an intense learning process, where you can compare and acquire knowledge from both EFMD professionals and good practices from other companies,” said Jose Luis Ausin Pascua, Head of Naturgy Corporate University.
The strong collaboration between its university and Naturgy’s business functions, especially in digital transformation efforts like AI adoption, was also recognised. Its alignment with Naturgy’s sustainability goals was noted, with learning programmes supporting key ESG indicators.
Additionally, the corporate university is recognised for the effectiveness of its learning programmes, which is further underscored by the high engagement of learners and their managers, with robust feedback mechanisms in place to measure satisfaction and behavioural impact, significantly exceeding industry standards.
“Knowing that such renowned professionals in HR and specifically in corporate learning endorse the Corporate University as a lever of excellence and acceleration for the transformation of our company, oriented to the employee experience and aligned with the Group’s objectives, is an immense pride,” added Ausin Pascua. “This recognition accentuates our commitment and dedication to developing our people through the necessary skills and knowledge, since at Naturgy and the Corporate University, we believe that we must invest to help our professionals in this volatile world, to grow sustainably and healthy. This recognition motivates us to continue striving for continuous improvement while confirming our work.”
