ABIS – The Academy of Business in Society would like to invite you to its Knowledge Into Action Forum focusing on “Futures of Business Education”.
The event addresses the increasingly relevant role and responsibility of business schools for sustainable development (as laid out in our recent position paper on the topic). It will provide you with an overview of the latest developments and recommendations as well as practical frameworks, such as the EU Greencomp. We also want to gather your ideas and opinions on the key drivers of change that will affect business schools for the better.
Feel free to explore the full event programme here, which includes:
- Day 1, 10 May (fully ONLINE) featuring keynotes, panels and breakout sessions
- Day 2, 11 May (in Brussels) with co-creation, participative sessions based on foresight methodologies leveraging from in-person connections
We will approach the topic through the innovative lens of futures studies, foresight and anticipatory governance. On 11 May we will start a scenario building exercise to uncover how the future of business schools, including curricula, research and institutional practices, may unfold. The aim is to develop a foresight model to help business schools’ transformation. Do not miss out on this multistakeholder initiative!
Speakers from UNESCO, European Commission, IMD, University of Stellenbosch and Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham Business School agreed to join us. Will you?
