Case Centre Case Awards

The Case Centre announces its list of bestselling case authors for the 2023/24 academic year. The 2023/24 list has its share of established authors as well as nine fresh new faces.

ICFAI Business School features prominently with six authors holding the top 10 spots, and eight authors on the list overall. Among these, our highest new entry goes to Vinod Babu Koti of ICFAI Business School (IBS) who comes in at number seven. You might recognise Vinod from The Case Centre Awards in 2020 where his case, Big Data Strategy of Procter & Gamble: Turning Big Data into Big Value, won the Knowledge, Information and Communication Systems Management category.

The list also extends a warm welcome to Felipe Monteiro of INSEAD; Manish Agarwal of ICFAI Business School; Frank T Rothaermel of Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology; Aneeta Rattan of London Business School; Martin Kupp of ESCP Business School; Kannan Ramaswamy of Thunderbird School of Global Management; Geoffrey G Jones of Harvard Business School; and Garrett van Ryzin of Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.

The late, esteemed Debapratim Purkayastha of ICFAI Business School (IBS) continues to inspire authors, teachers and students of the case method as he retains first place for an astonishing ninth consecutive year.

Dayananda Sagar University and Fuqua Business School, Duke University also made their debut in this year’s list. While Harvard Business School maintains a heavy influence with seven authors.

The representation of female authors in the list remains at a steady 22%, a trend we’ve seen for three years running.
