‘See the Future’ survey: Understanding challenges and opportunities in business education

See the Future Survey

Business education is at a crossroads. Rapid advances in AI, growing expectations for sustainability, and a climate of uncertainty are prompting schools to rethink how they prepare future leaders.

Understanding the perspectives of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and employers is essential to navigating these challenges effectively. The third See the Future Survey offers business schools an opportunity to contribute to this understanding and help shape the sector’s direction.

About the study

Run by EFMD Global in collaboration with CarringtonCrisp, Full Fabric, and 4uni-solutions.com, the study is structured as a concise online survey. It begins with brief introductory questions, followed by two sections—one on AI and one on sustainability. The survey takes no more than ten minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. No individual will be identified in the reporting of results.

  • Participating schools will receive a detailed report summarising the overall findings, with an option for a local report if sufficient responses are collected.
  • Participation is free, and the survey will remain open until 24 December 2025.
  • Results will be available in February, following publication of the overall report at the EFMD Deans Conference.

How to participate

We encourage schools to share the survey with their students, staff, faculty, alumni, and employers to ensure a broad range of perspectives. Each contribution helps provide a clearer picture of how institutions can respond to the challenges and opportunities shaping business education.
