We are delighted to announce the recent EFMD Programme Accreditation of the BSc in Business Administration and Management (English Track) offered by the University of Szeged and the re-accreditation of four other programmes.
‘Warm congratulations to all programmes whose academic excellence has been recognised by the EFMD Programme Accreditation during this cycle. These institutions have demonstrated great commitment to continuous quality improvement for the benefit of all their stakeholders. We look forward to their future endeavors!’ commented Barbara Sporn, EFMD Programme Accreditation Director.
BSc in Business Administration and Management (English Track)
In 2013, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Szeged launched the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management as its first fully English-taught program. It is designed to provide students with the interdisciplinary knowledge to succeed in various work environments. The BSc excels in international student mobility. It has attracted a diverse international cohort of students from 39 nationalities.
‘We consider The EFMD Programme Accreditation an honour. Our School is committed to continuous development and quality improvement. The Programme Accreditation motivates us to continue our work, make more efforts and prove our eligibility for Accreditation,’ said Péter Kovács, Dean, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Szeged.
During the same Accreditation Board meeting, the following institutions were also granted EFMD Programme Re-accreditation:
- Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pécs, Hungary, for its BSc in Business Administration and Management
- Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, Croatia, for its Bachelor in International Business
- EM Strasbourg Business School, University of Strasbourg, France, for its Grande Ecole Programme
- Bologna Business School, Bologna University, Italy, for its Global MBA
EFMD Programme Accreditation is a complementary evaluation tool available also to EQUIS-accredited schools aiming to further differentiate some of their programmes, focusing on their strategic relevance and development. Today, various business schools, including EM Strasbourg Business School and Bologna Business School, combine the institutional accreditation, EQUIS, with the EFMD Programme Accreditation to profoundly assess their academic offering and offer a trusted point of reference for innovation and a quality seal for stakeholders.
