Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, EM Strasbourg Business School and IPADE Business School are EQUIS accredited and five schools receive re-accrediation

We are pleased to announce that the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of ZagrebEM Strasbourg Business School, and IPADE Business School have received their initial EQUIS accreditations. Congratulations and welcome to these schools!

Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb

The Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, was founded in 1920, and it is the oldest institution of higher education in economics and business in the Republic of Croatia. The school is committed to research and high-quality education. The University of Zagreb has excellent connections with the world of practice and a remarkable reputation in the region.

EM Strasbourg Business School

EM Strasbourg Business School is part of the University of Strasbourg. Its students use practical cross-disciplinary case studies on current issues to evolve in line with societal, environmental, economic, and technological advances. The school is very strong in its commitment to improvement and the progress achieved in the past years and furthermore excellently uses its location to magnify its impact.

IPADE Business School

IPADE Business School was created by the business community in Mexico City and Latin America in 1967. The school’s education model combines classroom learning and practical experience with a commitment to partnerships and internationalisation. IPADE is known for its service to the regional business community through its educational offer resulting in a remarkable alumni network.

The Dean, Fernández Alonso, commented, ‘I am delighted that EFMD has granted IPADE the EQUIS accreditation, which recognizes our commitment to the business community and to the mission of instilling in our participants an ethos of international awareness and Social Responsibility.’

EQUIS – EFMD Quality Improvement System

EQUIS is a rigorous tool for business schools to assess, accredit and improve their quality in ten key areas, benchmarking them against international standards in terms of governance, programmes, students, faculty, research, and foremost, internationalisation, ethics, responsibility and sustainability, as well as corporate engagement.

It offers a quality assessment and a quality improvement process, very much rooted in the mission of EFMD. True quality is about striving to do better, even when you are already excellent, and this focus on continuous improvement is thus at the heart of the EQUIS mission.
