The programme accreditation of EFMD is one of the most demanding yet effective ways to certify the quality of a programme in business and management. This achievement confirms the relevance of both programmes and Nottingham Business School & the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.’

Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University

With the accreditation of its BA (Hons) International Business Programme Suite (BAIB) programme, NBS, Nottingham Trent University is now the 5th international business school to hold the EFMD Programme Accreditation alongside its institutional accreditation, EQUIS.

Developed throughout the programme curriculum, the core themes of the BAIB programme – International Strategy and Management, Language and Intercultural Awareness, Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability – are aligned with EFMD Programme Accreditation‘s fundamental values. The international scope of the programme supports NBS’ philosophy to work at the intersection of research, education, and collaborative business engagement. The BAIB offers its graduates a good balance of traditional and innovative teaching methods enabling students to understand and apply theory, analyse problems and think critically. Strong of an excellent connection with the world of practice, it also prepares graduates for a multi-national environment as they gain international experience during their study.

‘We are delighted that our suite of international business bachelor programmes have been EFMD Accredited for five years, alongside our EQUIS re-accreditation. NBS’s focus on global citizenship, internationalisation in all its dimensions, experiential learning and engagement with business and partner schools worldwide are central to the design and delivery of this suite of international business programmes. At NBS, an outstanding and enriching student experience is in our DNA. Thank you to the EFMD and PRT for their very positive comments,’ says Melanie Currie, Deputy Dean, Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University

The Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade

The Bachelor in Economics – Accounting, Audit and Financial Management (AAFM) is a four-year study programme firmly positioned in the Serbian market. The programme offers students an internationally relevant curriculum as well as good connections with practice. Empowered by its leadership, committed faculty, students, and alumni, the school has set clear research and internationalisation ambitions, which will most certainly strengthen the programme.

‘The accreditation process has had a positive impact on reforming many segments of our School. In this process, we have redefined some of the procedures and services, teaching, examining and grading process and methods, and especially increased the flexibility and electives in the accredited study programme. We welcome all suggestions for improvement, and we will work on them seriously and with a lot of enthusiasm. We are happy and honoured to join a group of respectable business schools, providing our students with a better programme and better chances to acquire relevant and comparable knowledge and skills. We see EFMD accreditation as an ideal external factor for making internal reforms of an educational institution,’ says Branislav Boricic, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

During the same accreditation board the following institutions were also granted the EFMD Programme Accreditation:
