Congratulations to Grenoble IAE Graduate School of Management, Université Grenoble Alpes for the EPAS accreditation of its Bachelor in Management.

EPAS is designed as a quality enhancement process for particular programmes within an institution. It aims to evaluate the quality of degree programmes in business and/or management. The process involves an in-depth review of individual programmes through international benchmarking.

Christian Defélix, Dean of Grenoble IAE Graduate School of Management, Université Grenoble Alpes commented: “We expect this label to have several ripple effects. Not only will it allow us to step up the overall requirement for our recruitment in France, but it will also enable us to attract more foreign students while reinforcing our portfolio of partners in France and abroad. More generally, it also supports us on our path towards continuous improvement. International accreditations are a lever for improving our practices, which is particularly well aligned with the strategy of Grenoble INP Institute of Engineering and Management, our new establishment, within the new Université Grenoble Alpes.”

Grenoble IAE is embedded in a vibrant public-private ecosystem. The school puts a great emphasis on the importance of the personal development of students. Its objective is to forge innovative and collaborative managers. The school also benefits from a deep connection with practice offering diverse opportunities to students.

The Bachelor in Management (BIM) is a top-up programme which stands out from similar offerings by offering an internationally-oriented study course with mandatory study/internship abroad. The peer review team commends the school on the fit of the programme objectives within the institutional context. The ILOs of the Programme are clear and fit for training students as future collaborative and innovative managers. The integration of the mandatory ‘IAE Starter’ project was a smart addition. IAE Starter is a digital creative project allowing students to deep-dive into innovation and entrepreneurial challenges from the very beginning of the programme. The project highlights a clear link between professional academic studies and the business world.

“We are delighted to welcome Grenoble IAE Graduate School of Management Bachelor in Management to the pool of EPAS accredited programmes. BIM is a strong programme with an excellent international focus and a good quality assurance system in place. We are very pleased to accompany them on their journey towards excellence,” commented Barbara Sporn, EPAS Director.

EPAS was launched in 2005, and over those fourteen years has had a considerable impact on the quality of business schools’ programmes all over the world. The programme accreditation from EFMD is one of the most demanding yet effective ways to certify the quality of a programme in the field of business and management.

There are currently 124+3 EPAS-accredited programmes on offer at 90 +2 schools across 35 countries. For more information on EPAS, visit www.efmdglobal.org/epas.
