UPF Barcelona School of Management has developed a clear online learning strategy which is aligned with its mission and which also responds to online learning trends. The school is fairly experienced and can be seen as an early adopter of online learning, having created an e-learning department to design online Masters in 2003. Providing a very personalised learning approach makes up the core of their online learning methodology.
Given the current circumstances that boosted the need and interest in online teaching and learning, the school is planning to invest more in the online division than previously planned. Online learning is regarded as a key issue in the school’s internationalisation activities.
Oriol Amat, Dean, UPF Barcelona School of Management, commented: “It’s a great honour for us to have the EOCCS certification for several courses of our Online Master in Accounting and Financial Management. This encourages us to continue working hard on the journey of total quality in our online programmes as well the “on campus” and blended programmes. We really appreciate the EOCCS team for their advice and support.”
Keith Pond, EOCCS Director, congratulated the school by saying: “We would like to praise the institution for their clear strategic plan and considerations for online learning bolstered by the enthusiastic and professional course team.
