COVID-19: updates & actions

Updated on 12 August 2020

The coronavirus is having a significant impact on individuals, which is equally affecting the operations of business education and corporate institutions across our network.

Given the WHO announcement declaring the spread of COVID-19 a pandemic, we are taking appropriate actions to ensure a safe environment for our members, associates, volunteers, and staff, and implement extraordinary measures to mitigate the disruption of our operations and services. The health and well-being of our members and their families remain our highest priority.

In this challenging time, our priority is to support our members, facilitate the exchange of good practice, and provide a safe environment for continuous development and growth.

Whenever appropriate, participation in visits, meetings, and events is available through the means of virtual technology, but some of our activities are unfortunately being postponed or cancelled.

Should we expect delay to reaccreditations and deadlines relating to same?

Dear Inger, the EFMD Quality Services team is determined to work with and support Schools in these difficult times. We are contacting the concerned Schools well in advance to plan for a revised time frame and offer alternative means to the Peer Review Visits. The Quality Services Team will be in touch with you.

      Thank you and stay well!

As the University is now operating virtually due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are considering alternative assessment methods for our students. Therefore, we would like to know if there are any constraints / conditions from EQUIS around alternative assessments and progression on teaching programmes?

Dear Amizan, thank you for your question. The EFMD Quality Services Team will be with you shortly to reply to your query.
