We are happy to announce that the EPAS Accreditation Board has recently awarded EPAS re-accreditation to four well-established programmes.

Congratulations to La Rochelle Business School, Excelia Groupe, France whose programmes Master Grande Ecole – Master in Management and BBA International were recognised by the EPAS quality label.

We also address our congratulations to the ESIC Business and Marketing School, Spain whose two programmes International MBA and Master in Marketing Management obtained the EPAS label for their continuous quality assurance.

Jens Tøndel, EPAS Director, commented on the recent success: “I would like to congratulate the two institutions to have successfully gone through the thorough EPAS re-accreditation process and proven their commitment to ongoing advancement. We in EPAS are happy to offer strategic guidance for the quality improvement and future development of the schools’ programmes.”

La Rochelle Master Grande Ecole – Master in Management is a well-established programme, which also made its entry into the Financial Times Rankings. Research at the university level is critical and the programme was commended, among other things, for the increasingly research-based teaching by a more research oriented-faculty. The BBA International is very well rooted in the region, contributing directly to the development of its area through the provision of good graduates with sound academic, international and practical skills. Thanks to various projects the programme forms the entire personality of the students.

Bruno Neil, Dean and CEO of La Rochelle Business School, Excelia Group, commented: “I am particularly pleased that the school has once again achieved the five-year re-accreditation duration for its two programmes – Master in Management and BBA International.  The School has made the best use of EFMD’s EPAS accreditation implementing previous recommendations on a phase by phase basis. I would like to thank this peer review team for their generosity in sharing their expertise and for the quality of their work. We have an extensive and in-depth report which is very helpful to support La Rochelle Business School’s realise its continuous improvement ambitions.”

The ESIC Business and Marketing School’s International MBA (IMBA) and Master in Marketing Management (MiMM) are part of the school’s outstanding international programmes.

The IMBA programme, which is jointly delivered with Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) in China, produces strong graduates for whom there is significant demand in the managerial labour market. Internationalisation, one of the EPAS cornerstones, is undoubtedly the programme’s strong side with its international student body, international learning experience, and especially the experience of Western and Chinese management.

Similarly, the MiMM was recognised for its reputation in the marketing field, teaching input from practitioners with international experience and a good balance between the “hard” and soft skills development of their students.

There are currently 111 EPAS-accredited programmes from 81 schools across 36 countries. For more information on EPAS visit www.efmdglobal.org/epas
