TASK™️ by Sulitest

Sulitest launches TASK™️ – The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledge – with the ambition to transform education by making sustainability a common language.

The online certificate of sustainability knowledge!
Press Release – March 10, 2023

TASK™️ by SulitestTo build a sustainable future, it is essential to improve the level of knowledge, skills and attitudes towards sustainability worldwide. While society needs experts who can solve specific problems in their field, we need to mainstream sustainability literacy so that everyone has a sufficient understanding and can integrate this knowledge into their personal and professional practices and decisions.

Because the various concepts of sustainability do not fit into one particular area of education but interact with many others, teachers very often find themselves addressing these topics without a true awareness of the learners’ initial level of knowledge. By offering TASK™ to their students at the beginning of the curriculum, teachers have a better view of the level of understanding of the basic concepts and can adjust their pedagogical approach to provide more appropriate instruction.

Offered at the end of a curriculum, TASK™ also provides a way to measure the actual impacts of educational actions, to compare one program with another, and to ensure that once again, they allow all graduates to “speak the language of sustainability,” to understand the challenges, trends and interconnections.

In addition, detailed and aggregated results at the student cohort level provide metrics and evidence to accreditors, rankings, and various stakeholders that actions are implemented and have a result. TASK™ thus acts as a trusted third party by measuring the impact of actions in a comparable, robust and secure manner.

Obtaining a certificate that can be used on a CV or LinkedIn profile allows students of all backgrounds to demonstrate their level of knowledge about sustainability and to show their future employers that they are ready to have a positive impact!

Some 20 pioneering higher education institutions have already committed to certifying at least 75% of their graduates within three years with TASK™️, in France and internationally.

This standard will act as a lever to ensure that understanding sustainable development is not a luxury reserved for students enrolled in dedicated courses or activists involved in certain causes, but the common language of all students, regardless of their training.
