ISIL e-learning in Peru EOCCS

ISIL, Peru, is pleased to invite you to a free webinar “E-learning in Peru: Experiences and Expectations” on Tuesday, 1 June 9:00 a.m. Peru time (GMT – 5). The event will be held in English and you can register here.

The current situation in the world has generated a dizzying advance in online education across the globe. A result of this is that long known players, universities and institutes, now share the same ecosystems as newer online learning platforms. What does this mean for the future of education?

In this webinar, we will address this phenomenon through the presentation and discussion of our most recent study “E-learning in Peru: Experiences and Expectations” along with Keith Pond, Director of EOCCS, EFMD Global.

Guest speaker: Keith Pond – EOCCS Director

Keith is EFMDs Online Course Certification Scheme (EOCCS) Director, having worked with EFMD from 2014 to design and implement EOCCS. Managing a small but experienced team he leads various digital initiatives, including the EOCCS Online Community of Practice.

Keith maintains an intensely practical approach to his role and champions e-learning and employability development at the school, university, national and international levels. He has wide experience in teaching internationally and of involvement in international Higher Education projects.

Host of the event: Jimena Canales – Project Director at ISIL

Connecting education with people and organisation needs, Jimena works at ISIL leading the design and development of online education projects, including the content strategy and learning methodology.

Jimena successfully led the EOCCS certification at ISIL, being the first Peruvian education institution to receive it. Specialist in research and innovation, holding degrees in both Business Research (MSc) and in Project Management (MA).
