Thirteen schools successfully reaccredited

We are extending our warmest congratulations to 13 schools that went successfully through the re-accreditation process and reaffirmed their position of the global leading management schools.

EQUIS re-accreditation was awarded to the following institutions:

Bing Xiang, Founding Dean of the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business shared his contentment by saying:
“We are delighted to receive EQUIS re-accreditation from EFMD. This recognizes our school’s globalization efforts and pioneering initiatives in business education. We look forward to working closely with EFMD and its member schools worldwide to jointly develop leaders of today and tomorrow who can address common challenges faced by humanity.”

The Waikato Management School from New Zealand is equally glad to be re-accredited as confirmed by the words of the school’s Dean, Tim Coltman: “Waikato Management School is a proud, well-established business school that benefits greatly from EQUIS. The accreditation cycle began with internal reflection and external validation of our progress. Pathways to maintain our upward trajectory were provided. The cycle ended with encouragement to be ambitious in our pursuit of international respect as evident in the quality and impact of our activities.”

The President of IMD in Switzerland, Jean-François Manzoni referred back to their first EQUIS accreditation and recalled the benefits of going through the peer-reviewed quality assessment: “We are delighted to have been reaccredited for another five-year term.  We were first EQUIS accredited in 1998 and have been continuously accredited for five-year periods since then. The EQUIS process has been an invaluable learning experience as IMD continues to chart a path towards extending our impact on individuals, teams, organizations, and society. The Peer Review Team’s overall assessment of IMD as having ‘strong and distinctive positioning’ aligns with our identity as a unique internationalized institution featuring Swiss roots and global reach. The renewal of the EQUIS seal of approval signals to our participants and prospective participants and partners that we demonstrate excellence and innovation in all dimensions of our activities.”

“For ESMT Berlin, the re-accreditation by EQUIS for the maximal length of time illustrates that we are achieving the high standard of educational excellence for which we strive. With its focus on the quality of the entire institution, the accreditation is a valuable benchmark for a leading business school such as ESMT,” commented professor Rocholl, the dean of ESMT Berlin.

Loïck Roche, Dean and Director of the Grenoble Ecole de Management enhanced the value of the re-accreditation: “We are proud to have been reconfirmed for 5 years of EQUIS accreditation. Once again, this valuable process has provided us with an excellent opportunity to pause and reflect on progress made in the last five years while identifying areas to continue to focus our efforts as we move forward. Our appreciation goes to EFMD for providing us with the external guidance offered by both the EFMD Quality Service team as well as the high-quality peer review panel members.”

Terry O’Neill, the Executive Dean of Bond Business School said: “Bond Business School is very proud to continue EQUIS accreditation. It is a validation of our internationalisation and our commitment to the highest quality business education and research.”
